Our Clients
First of all, I was amazed to find all 3 services in one stop, affordable!!! (face painting, balloon animals and a photo booth). We had a family carnival on the 4th of July. Jim was professional from the start and AVAILABLE on the 4th!!!! He communicates much better by email, but also travels a lot, so there were some gaps in communication. However, he was on time, his team was awesome and our family and friends were beside themselves!!!! Of course the photo booth was the biggest hit. The face painting skills were super amazing. The balloon animals were great! I would absolutely use Jim and his team again. BTW I changed the arrival time thinking we'd have guests earlier, and then COMPLETELY forgot that that changed the finish time. Jim and his team stayed and gently mentioned they had stayed over, at the end. I was mortified, but they were very gracious. Class act that I will recommend and use again ;).

We have used mr California art 2 years in a row and were very pleased with the entertainment!!! they are very friendly the kids enjoyed the face painting balloon animals airbrush tattoos and the photo booth is exciting for all ages!!! the prices are reasonable and they are amazing at helping make the party your own! I would recommend them to all of my friends and family and plan on booking them for future events.
The MR California Art crew is great! They are so friendly and easy to work with and very professional. We hired them for the Folsom Rodeo and Auburn Country Jam and their photo booth was a hit. The owner is very personable and willing to give you options to entertain your party or customers. We would definitely hire them again and most likely will!
They are awesome!!! I've never left a review on yelp before but I rely solely on this site for feedback on everything! Since they received such great reviews I decided to contact them for a 1st birthday party knowing I wouldn't be able to attend. So I needed to find someone reliable, trustworthy, and also very professional... And that's exactly what I got!!! We emailed back and fourth and I never had to wait long for a response from their team. Very professional and trustworthy. They did such a great job! I booked them for face painting, the balloon twister, and photo booth... And after the party EVERYONE was sooo happy with the work they did! The face painting was amazing!!! We recently had MR California Art crew at our school's Ice Cream Social. This event typically draws at least 500 guests. MR California Art did a fantastic job!!! It was a very busy event and they worked non-stop for 2 hours straight all the while with smiles on their faces. They provided many cute, creative balloon creations and face paintings. Their set up, display and presentation was very professional. We would happily recommend them for any large school event or party and would happily have them back to our school.
The entire MR California art staff is amazing!! I was going crazy looking for a reasonable photo booth company that included everything! Finally I found MR California art and everything was so quick and easy!! I booked the event early and wasn't aware of the temperature until closer to the date. But, Ede and Tommee were truly amazing they worked non stop for 3 hours in the HEAT!! But, still managed to be so sweet and helpful!! Also Jim is just as amazing he checked in with me after the event to see how everything went. Couldn't ask for better service!! Not to mention everyone at the party truly enjoyed the photo booth!! I highly recommend that everyone looking for GREAT services give them a call and book them ASAP!! Can't wait until I have future events that need any of their services!!

Jim Robertson
Founder
Jim is the founder and webmaster for the business. Jim has traveled throughout the world and enjoys working with all cultures. Our work shows the pride we have in serving these cultures. We understand and respect everyone of all walks of life. Our interest is doing the very best work possible for you. Jim started MR California Art to help Mechelle Robertson (MR) while attending Sacramento State University. Mechelle is a freshman this year.

Mechelle
Mechelle Robertson is our lead artist. She has trained at the Louvre in Paris, France and the Sydney National Arts School in Australia. Throughout her life, Mechelle has focused on art. She is considered a gifted artist. This may be the result of being a descendent of “Leonardo Da Vinci’s” family. Art is her favorite past-time and she loves face painting. Mechelle’s instructor at the Louvre was David Coburn. David was previously an actor with roles in “Babalon 5”, “Star Trek”, “Saturday Night Fever”, “JAG” and others. He was also the voice over for “Captain Planet/Captain Pollution”. David was living near Paris at the time of Mechelle’s training.
